the challenge

A professional services firm in the justice and public sector space had a desire to launch its first SaaS platform. 


The Challenge: 


Transforming a traditional consultancy into a tech-forward, product-driven brand—while differentiating in a high-stakes, compliance-heavy market with tight timelines and no design team.

the approach

Product Strategy

  • Owned product vision and drove an MVP to market in < 6 months
  • Scaled an engineering pod from zero to four devs in three weeks
  • Led end-to-end product brand, roadmap, and communication across the organization (stakeholders, users, and clients)
  • Developed  pricing strategy for future revenue with Potential Total Revenue  totaling  to about $1.2M–$1.25M over 3 years
  • AI-assisted product planning:
    On the product side I used GPT to generate initial user stories from stakeholder interviews, translated them into a prioritized backlog, and pulled acceptance-criteria checklists right into Jira. That rapidly cut down planning time by 2 sprints

Brand Reimagined

  • Led client through brand reframe from service -based consultancy to SaaS driven offering. 
  • Redefined company goals and positioning honing in on current government county markets while long term vision expands the company's reach to secondary markets such as healthcare and education. 

Asset Creation

  • Led the creation of all product documentation, including but not limited to sales related collateral. 
  • Developed and established the organization's engineering and product ways of working standards launching confluence for increased visibility and collaboration between overall product and engineering standards on confluence.
  • Created company one-pager and investor deck which included in-depth competitor analysis, company details, redefined mission and vision based on new direction.
  • Deck secured first-round conversations with two seed funds in < 30 days

Leveraged AI

Leveraging an AI-first toolkit shaved a month off product discovery, tripled our copy-creation velocity for decks and assets, and accelerated MVP kickoff by two sprints, turning what could have been a twelve-month services-to-SaaS pivot into a six month reality
